The 2019 AIA Indiana Architect’s Home Tour took place September 28th and 29th in Indianapolis.
The public had a chance to tour these private homes, designed by licensed AIA architects, and showcasing the most interesting and innovative residential architecture in Indianapolis.
The Architect’s Home Tour offers something for everyone from bungalows to mansions, contemporary styles to traditional styles, new construction, and full renovations.
This year’s self-guided tour features five homes from five different architecture firms including the Dimond residence, by Rowland Design.
The house is located at 6471 Central Avenue in the Warfleigh neighborhood near Butler University and the Broad Ripple area.
The Dimond residence is a restoration of the original craftsman farmhouse featuring an addition with a modern/craftsman style.
The two-day event begins each day at Noon and ends at 5:00 PM. Tickets are $20 each and kids age 12 and under are free.
